I just want to start off this blog by saying I love weddings…..but what I love even more is two people so in love that they just can’t keep their eyes or hands off each other! Â Sarah & Peter were one of these couples. Â When Sarah & Peter booked me a while back I was so totally excited to be asked to shoot their wedding at the amazing Villa Botanica. Â This is somewhere I would only dream of shooting and to be doing a wedding there, with such an amazing couple really was a dream!
I headed up to Airlie Beach on Wednesday with my awesome friend Maureen and met with Sarah & Peter at Villa for their wedding rehearsal and instantly knew we would have an amazing day. Â Maureen spent the morning with the boys at their apartment and I was with the girls in what would have to be the most beautiful room I think I have photographed in. Â As with most of my gorgeous brides, Sarah was pretty relaxed and just eager to marry the man of her dreams. Â The ceremony was lovely and the toast by a close family friend brought tears to everyone’s eyes including mine.
Villa Botanica is one of those locations where you could spend hours photographing in all their different nooks & crannies and it really is a photographers paradise.
I will leave it at that and let the photos speak for themselves. Â Oh and the photos of the boys are by Maureen.
Maureen – thank you for coming up and shooting Sarah & Peter’s wedding with me. Â It was so great to hang out with you and not only are you an AMAZING photographer but also the best friend a girl could have. Love you to bits.
Sarah & Peter – I think you know how honoured I am to have been your wedding photographer. Â You made my job seem easy and in actual fact it was just like hanging out with some friends and capturing some awesome moments with them. Â I hope you are having a dream honeymoon and I can’t wait to catch up with you when you are back.
I would also like to thank the staff at Villa Botanica, in particular Ivor & Tanya for being so amazing at what you do and looking after us photographers so well. Â Ivor, you had Maureen and myself in stitches all day yesterday – you are certainly one of a kind. Â If only we had more of you in Brisbane.
Till next time
Na xx
