Tats and Cheesburgers – An E-Shoot

This weekend I’ll be shooting Tim and Bel’s wedding day at Parkwood International Golf Course, so I thought I would share their awesome e-shoot with you all.

When I first met Tim and Bel I just knew that working with them was going to be A-mazing! While chatting, Tim happened to mention that he would love to get tats and cheeseburgers on their wedding day and was kind of disappointed that due to time restraints, the chances of that happening were pretty slim. So we figured, what better time to get tats and eat cheeseburgers than on an E-shoot! Perfect!

Anyway, after some tattooing and some cheeseburger eating we headed to the laundromat next door where Tim and Bel do their weekly washing. We had a great time and got some fun shots before heading to a fave little spot of mine to finish the day. I want to give a HUGE shout out to 1.9.8 Tattoo for allowing me shoot in their shop. Thanks guys.

Styled shoots like this one are my absolute faves to do, but it’s important to remember to keep true to the couple I’m photographing. Tim and Bel were totally into everything we did on the day so nothing felt or looked staged. If you are after a styled shoot make sure your ideas reflect the real couple that you are. You’ll feel more comfortable and your shoot will turn out just as awesome as Tim and Bel’s did.
